The owner is a self-taught cake decorator and baker who is passionate about baking and cake decorating. She was introduced to baking growing up with her grandmother who baked and made cakes on a weekly basis. From observing her she acquired many techniques, knowledge and skills that are utilized as a foundation for the business today. However, to build on the technique and skills she observed and learned Lakisha asserted herself and enrolled in various courses and mini classes to further develop her skill set.  She started baking and decorating cakes after her daughter asked her to make a cake for her 4th birthday. Shocked by the request yet honored she fulfilled the task and from there the rest is history. It started as a hobby and is continually developing and growing day by day. She has created and continues to create mouthwatering, eye appealing dessert and treats,
